Anger is such a powerful emotion.
It is a full body emotion.
Unbridled anger is a thing of beauty.
You break every rule you may hold and feel ecstatic while doing so.
The words you say don't go through the same channels as they would otherwise - yet it feels justified.
It is thrilling.
But then what?
I have been thinking about that this past month.
For much of my life, I did not permit myself to feel anger.
It was a dirty emotion.
When you felt anger, it brought forth more.
It was like the spark that lights the kindling to dormant anger in others.
Those who preferred words would scold you in their own anger
and those that didn't prefer words; they'd just beat you.
Never-mind that the content went unrecognized.
The other thing I had noticed was what followed anger.
Restoration and guilt.
Anger leaves in its wake ruins.
Beautiful things grow from that waste.
